Mindfulness among University Students

The present study aimed to measure the level of mindfulness among a sample of university students and to examine the differences in their mindfulness scores according to the gender variable (male/female). The study sample consisted of 150 male and female students, who were selected using the accidental sampling method. The descriptive approach was adopted. The study also relied on the Mindfulness Scale developed by Ahlam Abdullah (2013). After processing the study data using SPSS 21, the results revealed the following:
- The level of mindfulness among university students is high.
There are no statistically significant differences in the level of mindfulness among university students attributable to the gender variable (male/female).
